Glad Bharat Foundation, founded on August 5th, 2019, is a non-governmental organisation committed to fostering sustainable development and creating positive societal impact. With the motto “Work Today for a Glad Tomorrow,” the organisation aims to restore hope and provide resources to those in need. It works across various sectors such as environmental protection, water conservation, education, skill development, and healthcare. A key area of focus is women’s empowerment, where the foundation spreads awareness about menstrual hygiene and provides support to improve women’s health and well-being.

By engaging in grassroots initiatives like tree plantations, rainwater harvesting, and environmental awareness campaigns, the foundation promotes a healthier, pollution-free planet. Additionally, it strives to uplift marginalised communities by offering vocational training and employment opportunities, especially in rural areas of Bihar.

In its mission to create a just world without poverty, illiteracy, and unemployment, Glad Bharat Foundation emphasises education as a key tool for social transformation. It operates learning centres, or “pathshalas,” to prevent child labour and trafficking, while also empowering individuals through skill-based training programs. The foundation’s extensive outreach extends to providing healthcare, especially for women and children, and responding to emergencies like the COVID-19 pandemic.
