TURNING CHALLENGES INTO CHANGE: THE IMPACT OF PROJECTS PRANADA AND ZOK

In India, plastic waste and unemployment in rural areas are more than just statistics; they are daily realities for millions. Projects Pranada and ZOK, spearheaded by a group of visionary students, are tackling these crises head-on. Enactus MAIMS through Project Pranada & ZOK are turning waste into opportunity by providing sustainable livelihoods to marginalised communities.

Key Achievements:

  • 900 kg of plastic waste repurposed into innovative products such as eco-bricks, tote bags, and coasters.
  • 11,000+ lives transformed, creating stable incomes for women and artisans.
  • Eco-brick toilets built, providing a sustainable solution to open defecation and improving sanitation.

They’re Making a Difference:

  • Empowering Communities: Women and handloom workers are trained to craft upcycled products, fostering economic independence.
  • Sustainability in Action: From collecting waste to producing finished goods, every step contributes to a greener planet.
  • Innovation at its Core: Brickless toilets and fruit peel pickles showcase the creative solutions driven by our youth heroes.
